HOW TO FIND US?
The bottom station of cable car to Velika Planina is located in Kamniška Bistrica, only 3 km before the ending of the valley. It is located 10 km from the town of Kamnik.
From the direction of Kamnik:
Follow the signs for Kamniška Bistrica - Gornji Grad. In Stahovica (after 6 km), turn left and follow the signs for Kamniška Bistrica and the bottom station of cable car. After 4 km, you will notice a car park on your right and a car cable station on your left.
From the direction of Maribor:
Take the motorway A2/E57. Take the exit Vransko. After a few kilometres of drive the road turns right (direction Kamnik). Continue down the Tuhinj Valley Tuhinjska dolina). As you arrive in Kamnik after 20 kilometers, follow the directions above (From the direction of Kamnik). You can also continue along the A2/E57 to the exit Krtina and then follow the signs for Kamnik. The road passes towns Dob, Radomlje and Volcji Potok.
From Jože Pucnik Airport Ljubljana:
Jože Pucnik Airport Ljubljana is located 28 km from the bottom station of cable car. Take the local road towards Ljubljana (follow the signs Ljubljana – Kamnik). At the crossroads in Moste turn left and follow the signs for Kamnik, follow the directions above (From the direction of Kamik).
